Actxa – the company behind the fitness trackers used in the National Steps Challenge – announces the Spur, its latest fitness band that features an all-day activity tracker with continuous heart rate monitoring and heart rate zone indication markers.
Removing the need for a chest strap, the Spurs provides constant and reliable heart rate monitoring when worn on your wrist. It measures your resting heart rate with a built-in sensor at the wrist, and helps to calculate and track your up to six heart rate zones (Relax, Warm Up, Fat Burn, Cardio, Intense and Max).
The Spurs also tracks daily steps, calories burned, active time and distance traveled like most other fitness trackers. It has a customizable display notifying you when a call, text or email comes in. As an added convenience, the raise-wrist display is activated each time you raise your wrist. With the Actxa App, you can track your daily fitness progress and also customize the notifications and alarms you would like to receive.
Not forgetting how important the sleep cycle is, the Actxa Spur also monitor sleep quality and hours slept with options to set silent vibration alarms.
Available in Dark Grey and Maroon, a key selling point of the Actxa Spur is its price. For just S$99, you will get a water-resistant fitness tracker that comes with a built-in heart rate monitor – which is half the price of the Fitbit Charge 2.
